Kling-Klang Gloria (1907)

On the left, we show a rare copy of Kling-Klang Gloria Gardens -

as illustrated by Lefler and Urban and published by Tempsky and

Freytag (Vienna) in 1907.

 

This example retains the original decorated board cover.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The production of Kling-Klang Gloria with illustrations and decoration by Lefler and Urban is sumptuous and includes not only the gorgeous full-page colour illustrations (which are prepared with wonderful integrated borders), but also decoration to each of the songs appearing within the title (an example from "Weihnachtslied" is shown to the right).

 

1st Edition copies of Kling-Klang Gloria - are delicate and rare. They are highly regarded by collectors and enthusiasts alike.

 

 

 

 

 

Our Greeting Cards and Reproduction Prints 

 

We have prepared sets of 16 Greeting Cards displaying each of the colour images from Kling-Klang Gloria (1907) and on the left, we show an example of how these Greeting Cards appear. When presented on Greeting Cards, these images are prepared as tipped-in plates - in homage to the hand-crafted

approach typical of prestige illustrated publications produced in the early decades of the 20th Century.

 

Hand-finishing is used to replicate the visual appearance of a tipped-in plate and the images are presented on

Ivory card stock (in the case of colour illustrations) or White card stock (in the case of monotone illustrations)

with an accompanying envelope. We have left the cards blank so that you may write your own personal

message.
