The Rainbow Twins (1919) presents Anderson's very own magical tale of adventures in Fairyland accompanied by a

masterful suite of colour and monotone illustrations in what would have been a high grade presentation for the time.

The wonderful 13 colour illustrations are accompanied by decorated End Papers and Anderson has contributed

monotone marginal illustrations to every page of text.

 

Presented in an unusual large format by Joseph Johnson (London), The Rainbow Twins was prepared for export

throughout the then-British Empire and Commonwealth, in addition to the United States.

approach typical of prestige illustrated publications produced in the early decades of the 20th Century. Each card is

hand-finished and and the images are presented on Ivory card stock with an accompanying envelope. The rear of each

card carries information about Florence Anderson, this wonderful suite and the profiled illustration - we have left the

interior of the cards blank so that you may write your own personal message.
