Monthly Highlight

For this month's highlight, we have shown a lovely illustration from Edmund Dulac's suite for Stories from Hans Andersen.

In this case, the illustration accompanied the tale, "The Garden of Paradise", and was associated with the following text:

The Fairy of the Garden now advanced to meet them; her garments shone like the

sun, and her face beamed like that of a happy mother rejoicing over her child.

This image can be reproduced in a variety of sizes, depending on individual requirements.

For further information on this wonderful artist, you may consider visiting our Edmund Dulac Collection.

"The Garden of Paradise"

This illustration was among at least 28 prepared by Dulac for Stories from Hans Andersen published in 1911 by Hodder & Stoughton.

It is one of four illustrations accompanying "The Garden of Paradise" in that 1st Edition.
