The Blue Lagoon (1910)

Illustrated by Willy Pogány

Stackpoole's classic tale of shipwreck on a tropical island and blooming adolescent love was illustrated in lovely

fashion by Pogány during possibly the most productive period of his life - a time that included the commissions

for Faust, Rubáiyát of Omar Khayyám, Tannhäuser, Lohengrin and Parsifal.

1st Edition copies of The Blue Lagoon - as illustrated by Pogány - are rare and highly valued by collectors and

enthusiasts alike.
