Bye, baby bunting,
Daddy's gone a-hunting,
To get a little rabbit's skin
To wrap the baby bunting in |
The House that Jack Built |
Hark, hark,
The dogs do bark,
Beggars are coming to town:
Some in rags,
And some in tags,
And some in velvet gowns.
|
Hey! diddle, diddle,
The cat and the fiddle,
The cow jumped over the moon;
The little dog laughed
To see such sport,
And the dish ran away with the
spoon. |

Jack and Jill went up the hill,
To fetch a pail of water;
Jack fell down, and broke his
crown,
And Jill came tumbling after.
Then up Jack got and home did
trot
As fast as he could caper,
And went to bed to mend his head
With vinegar and brown paper.

Little Miss Muffett
Sat on a tuffet,
Eating her curds and whey;
There came a great spider,
And sat down beside her,
And frightened Miss Muffett away
|
Jack Sprat could eat no fat,
His wife could eat no lean,
And so, betwixt them both,
They licked the platter clean.
|
Rain, rain, go away,
Come again another day;
Little (Arthur) wants
to play |

There was an old woman
lived
under a hill,
And if she's not gone,
she lives there
still |
As I was going to St Ives
I met a man with seven wives;
Each wife had seven sacks,
Each sack had seven cats,
Each cat had seven kits;
Kits, cats, sacks, and wives,
How many were going to St Ives?
|
Ring a ring o' roses,
A pocketful of posies,
Tisha! Tisha!
We all fall down. |
The Man in the Wilderness asked
me,
How many strawberries
grew in
the sea?
I answered him, as I thought
good,
As many as red herrings
grew in
the wood. |

The Fair Maid who the First of

Goes to the fields at break of

And washes in dew

Will ever after handsome be.
